All, thanks for everyones contribution in making the first half of the ’08/’09 season a success for the club. So far the record is Played 12, Won 8, Lost 4, For 35, Against 30, including a 100% record in the Essex Veterans league. Stortford Community Vets continued their impressive winning streak with a convincing 5-2 away victory against Deaconsfield. For the first time ever, the personnel available was limited due to a number of factors, such as man-flu, Christmas shopping with the Mrs, Dotson going cruising, and Gavin unexpectedly realising at 1:20pm that he would not get to the game as he had just passed Cirencester on the M4 heading towards Bristol.
